Total Recall Movie Review
Total Recall was very entertaining. If you like non-stop action you should definitely go see this movie. Colin Farrell was pretty great in this movie. I give him two thumbs up for playing this character. It’s hard to compete with an original movie because everyone will compare the two. Please don’t compare this to the original movie starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. I think the pulled the movie off the special effects and action sequence were well executed and the connect with characters was well portrayed. It was really cool to see two strong female leads in this movie doing some kick ass fighting and action scenes. Kate Beckinsale was so great in this role. You really just get annoyed with her and want her to die. She was so bad ass and kind of scary. I would not want to be in a fight with her. Now Jessica Biel really surprised me. I think she did very well this part. Sometimes I feel like she wasn’t as strong as the other actors in the movie. Kate Bechinsale totally stole from Jessica Biel’s scenes sometimes. Colin Farrell is always fun to watch and he carried the movie really well. I love action movies and I found it very entertaining. But, on a bad note I feel the story wasn’t totally clear. I know you were suppose to be kind of confused just like Douglas Quaid (Colin Farrell) in the movie. But I feel like some of the story line was confusing and I didn’t totally buy the love story between Douglas and Melina. But other then that it was very entertaining. It was refreshing to just see a non stop action movie. I pictured Dark Knight Rises to have this much action and it really let me down. I would rather see Total Recall again over Dark Knight Rises.
